What is Super Health?

Patrick Holford explains super health in one, simple sentence – “health isn’t just an absence of illness, it’s the abundance of vitality.”
In more detail, super health is characterised by a consistent, clear and high level of energy and emotional balance, a sharp mind, a desire to maintain physical energy and a good resilience to infectious diseases.
This may seem a farfetched idea, but Patrick believes that it is an achievable possibility for all of us.

While there is truth to the saying that you are what you eat, we are, in fact, more than that.
We are physical, chemical, spiritual and psychological beings that are also affected by the environment in which we live.
Patrick believes that an imbalance in any one of these domains can deplete your health.

He has identified five aspects of super health;

  1. Chemical
  2. Physical
  3. Mental and emotional
  4. Environmental
  5. Spiritual

 The best way to super health is to fine-tune each of these aspects of health. There are 6 key steps that will help you to regain control of your own vitality and learn what to do to live a long, healthy and rewarding life.
